La Grange d'Alice is situated a few minutes from Arc 1600, in the village of Les Granges. The chalet is at the foot of the Bois de Saule (blue), Granges (red) and Violettes (red) pistes, next to the Les Granges funiculaire station and La Millerette lift.

The chalet (altitude 1250m), which is a genuine 200 year-old 'chalet d'alpage' (a mountain house for humans and animals to live in together) has been lovingly restored using locally sourced materials whilst providing modern features such as solar-powered under-floor heating, sauna and an outside 6/8 person hot-tub. The chalet retains a real mountain atmosphere while also being comfortable and spacious.

Each of the 6 bedrooms are comfortably furnished, and are surprisingly spacious.

Bedroom 1
Double bed, ensuite shower, wc and basin. Glazed double doors leading to balcony.
Bedroom 2
Two single beds, with room for cot or child bed, ensuite shower, wc and basin. Smal balcony with views across the valley.

On the first floor:
The first floor has a small lounge area with DVD, tea/coffee making facilties and access to a large west-facing balcony and a south facing terrace with stunning views of the ski area. The sauna is located next to the large bathroom.

Two single beds with ensuite shower and basin. Views to the north and west. There is a WC just outside the room
Bedroom 4
Two single beds with ensuite shower and basin. Views to the north and east. There is room for a cot or child bed. There is a WC just outside the room.
Bedroom 5
Two single beds with basin. There is room for a cot or child bed. The bathroom and WCs are just across the landing.
Bedroom 6
Two single beds with basin, large window giving a panoramic view of the valley. The bathroom and WCs are just across the landing.
Bathroom
Large bath (can also be used as shower) and basin. Hair dryer available.

The sauna seats up to 6 people

Dining area and Salon
The kitchen, dining and lounge areaa large open plan area occupying most of the ground floor of the chalet. It has log fire, creating an impressive but comfortable environment in which to eat, relax and unwind after a hard day on the slopes. TV and DVD/CD/Video player are available, and the Chalet Minibar is on-hand to provide you with drinks and refreshments.

Terrace and grounds
The state-of-the are 8 person hot-tub is situated on the terrasse in front of the chalet. Around the chalet are plenty of safe, gently sloping areas for toboganning and snow-fun for children. The Millerette beginners ski area (with 200m drag lift) is just beyond the chalets ground.

Please note that smoking is not permitted in any part of the chalet at any time, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
