Children
We welcome children of all ages, and we make no charges for children aged 5 and under, and there are generous discounts for children aged 6 - 14 (provided they share a room with their parents).
Child care
We can arrange the services of our resident child carers to look
after your children in and around the chalet. Advance booking is normally
required. All our child carers are appropriately qualified and experienced,
and have had recent police checks (but they may not necessarily have formal
nanny qualifications). Childcare is not available on Saturdays (changeover
day).

Lift passes are free for children under 6.The chalets are all only about 150m from the main lift and a special ski-learning area with its own lifts. There is an easy blue piste back to Les Granges which most children are able to manage by the end of their first week. The Arc 1600 ESF ski school is only a few minutes away. We can also arrange private ski instruction and a mixture of instruction and child care.

and activities for children are of a nationally-agreed standard. |
Family Rooms
Several of the chalet bedrooms are large enough for an additional cot
and/or child bed, and we can be flexible with the sleeping arrangements
to suit your needs.
Meals for children
We offer a Children's meal early evening, with a selection of the usual
favourites (pasta, sausages, chicken, pizza etc.) and fresh fruit, yoghurt
and fruit juices. Bottler warmers, high chairs and potties are available
for toddlers and babies.
Older children (normally over 11) are welcome to join the 'adult' dinner, although special food cannot be provided.
Consumables
Most types of nappies, bottled baby food, wipes etc. available in
the UK can be purchased locally. Please let us know if you would like
us to get any supplies for when you arrive, by email at least a week in
advance. Prices are more or less the same as in the UK.
Entertainment
We have a Video/DVD system in the salon, and a portable TV/DVD player
which can be borrowed for use in a guest room (can be connected to Gameboy,
X-box etc). We also have a small library of videos and DVDs suitbale for
children of all ages..
